DAK challenge freebie

Hello everybody...
Well it is the end of the month...and you know what that means the Member Design a Kit Challenge at MyScrapShop.com is coming to an end.
I know I say I am not a designer but this is the one time of the month that I just got to pull out my CU collection.
The theme for May was summer.


these colors have been a blast to play with.
and there have been some nice kits already submitted to the challege...so go and pick them up in the DAK thread.
And here is what I came up with

I had a lot of fun playing with the creation of this kit. I learned a bit from illustrator, Photoshop and Aftereffects.

Quckpages or starters?

Hello every body....
I know bad blogger, I have been working on this and that and in the next day or two will have a kit for you from the mss members design a kit challenge.
Until then...I have some layouts a freebie and a question.
First the question. For freebies what do you like? I am not a designer so except for the occasional Design a kit challenge I don't do those much
but I do have opportunities to play some awesome kits and even get to give away a few things.
So what do you like? clustered elements...QP...Starter Pages...Frames...Journalers?

Well Today I did a starter page it is like a QP but you get to decide where to put things...it gives you something besides a blank page to look at and a great beginning for your page.

Here is what I did with it. The first is a layout I did for MCA Designs it is of her daughter and husband dancing before the prom. I just love this picture. I used MCA Designs little Scrap Dress

Playing around and a Gift for you

Hello everybody.
I have been playing with MCA Designs new kit Counting flies and Counting flies addon.
I love frogs so this kit was going to be a real hit with me but what I love most about it is the bugs...and these colors are perfect for anyone.
well as I said I have been playing around with it and ended up doing four layouts(I did say I really liked this kit)

Well I asked really nice and Mel has been sweet enough to allow me to use this kit for a gift for you. Go Here to get the 2 frames and the coaster flower from my Gone to the frogs layout and if you go to her Blog she has a quick page of my "Birth mat" for you there.

Wahoo...I am back

Okay after getting my blog up...the robots on blogger thought my blog might be a spam blog.
Spam...Scrapbooking...they start with the same letter.
So my rambles had to wait a few days while they reviewed things. Actually Blogger got my blog up real quick and I was only off line for a little over 24 hours.
But on a good note...since I am so happy to get my blog back here is a little something I have been playing with.
I have been using SirScrapalots first Commercial use product Journalers vol1 & Vol2. As well as his sampler.

This is something I came up with using his Journaler Freebie its a date stamp to coordinate with the Summer fun Members design a kit challenge over at www.myscrapshop.com

I finally did it I got a Blog

Hello welcome to my little corner on the web...please don't mind the cobwebs...I am busy chasing after my 4 little ones and playing on the computer. I am a Digital scrapbooker...I love to do 8x10 pages as they are easy to print look good in a frame and with a simple backing paper to edge it look great in protector sheets.
I am a Digital scrapbooker...CT(for 2 wonderful designer and an awesome store filled with even more awesome designers!)...and while I am not a designer(lol) I love to play and sometimes even make a few neat things for people to enjoy.
I set up this blog to talk...share some layouts
Right now I am playing with some awesome Commercial use stuff from SirScrapalot(he has his first ever commercial use journalers out...I love these) and PillowGirl(have you gotten her Stash 1 & Stash 2 only $3 for a limited time lots of great items that have been a blast to use)
So what is someone who is not a designer doing with Commercial use stuff...like I said I love to play and the Members design Challenge at www.myscrapshop.com is lots of fun. This ends up become a huge kit every month
